Privacy
What is stored, what is transmitted, and when.
In short
This site sets no cookies, measures nothing and loads nothing from third-party servers. In the app, everything stays on your computer – as long as you do not share a space and do not switch on cloud AI. Both are off until you turn them on.

This website
No analytics, no tracking pixels, no cookies. The Inter typeface is served from this server, not from Google.
Server logs
When a page is requested, the server stores the page, the time and the IP address. This is technically necessary to deliver the site and rests on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Entries are deleted after a short period. Hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany.
Downloads
The installer files are hosted on GitHub. When you click a download button, GitHub (GitHub B.V. / Microsoft) receives your IP address.
The app – what stays local
Your brainstorms, boards and events are files on your computer. As long as you work alone, none of it leaves the device.
The app – what leaves the device
Account. The app has a sign-in with name, email and password. While no server is connected, these stay on your computer.
Shared spaces. When you share a space with others, its contents are transferred to our server so the others can see them. This applies only to spaces you explicitly share – your personal space is never transferred.
AI features. You can choose an AI service in the settings. By default it runs locally (Ollama) and nothing leaves your computer. If you choose a cloud provider instead – Groq, Google Gemini or OpenRouter – the texts of that brainstorm are sent to them, and their privacy terms apply.
Fonts. On first start the app downloads typefaces from Google. A future version will ship the fonts with the app instead.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion and portability, and object to processing (Art. 15–21 GDPR). An email to the address above is enough. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
